One of the most well-known treks in the Indian Himalayas is Auden's Col Trek. Mr. John Bicknell Auden found this journey in 1935, which is why it is called Auden's Col walk.
It links the Bhilangana valley to the Rudugaira valley. Auden's col climb is 5490 meters above sea level. Auden's Col is a mountain pass that connects the ridges of Gangotri and Jogin. The last stop on this hike is Kedarnath.
Auden's Col walk is in Gangotri National Park. The Himalayas are beautiful, have a refreshing climate, and offer a beautiful green meadow that is great for relaxing. So, what could be better than spending some time here in peace?
Drive from Dehradun to Gangotri (245 km) (10/11 hours) and stay in a motel overnight.
